Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway

The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is an integral part of the landscape of the Romney Marsh. Known as ‘Kent’s Mainline in Miniature, our one-third full size steam and diesel locomotives power their way along the 13½ miles of track from Hythe through Dymchurch, New Romney to Dungeness, a National Nature reserve and one of the largest shingle landscapes in the world. With excellent catering facilities at certain stations, our popular Model Exhibition at New Romney, station shops, free parking and facilities to assist our disabled visitors, the railway is the perfect, all generations great day out
