Follow the brown signs

Monifieth Amateur Dramatics Society leased the building 2 years ago and turned it from a British Legion club in to a theatre which we have now bought. We put on 3 plays plus a panto every year in March, June, September and December. The theatre seats 130 and we are building a loyal audience locally and from visitors to the area. We also have a very active weekly youth group whose summer programme saw the group produce a film and a play, written, directed and starring themselves. The theatre is important to lots of groups in the area who want to showcase a play, concert, a meeting or a prizegiving ceremony. Local groups run dance and zumba classes so there is something for everyone.
