A very special inn in a little village in the heart of North Yorkshire. Just a short drive from Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough, it is a haven for lovers of good food, fine wine and music, and offers the warmest of welcomes. We cook everything from scratch, wherever possible using the fabulous produce available locally, and even smoke our own meat and fish on site. Customers come back time and again not just for the food and the friendly atmosphere, but also for the singing. We hold regular opera nights, and if you’re very persuasive, our bass-baritione bar manager might even be persuaded to pipe up on a Friday or Saturday evening.
