St Mary’s Church, Potsgrove

A church with a tiny, rocket shaped spire

Originally Medieval, this small church was painstakingly rebuilt with authentic materials in 1880 by Arts and Crafts architect, JD Sedding.

His work included the font, the high pitched roof over the 15th- and 16th-century oak ceiling and the tiny, rocket-shaped spirelet.

The church is set at the end of a lane in the farming uplands, south of Woburn.
