				An entrance to remember
On its hillock above the River Chet stands this charming little Norman church, with its round tower surmounted by a later octagonal top.
The magnificent south doorway, carved fantastically with Norman motifs, must surely have been the work of the same mason as at nearby St Mary’s Church, Hales – another of the Trust’s churches that also has a wonderfully carved entrance.
