Beautiful tearoom with honeybee centre in five acres of woodland. They say it’s a Tŷ Un Nos, a ‘one-night house’, a custom whereby if you could build a house overnight on common land, with smoke rising from the chimney by daybreak, it was yours to keep. In the woods the Snowdonia Society are rearing queen bees, bringing virgin queens to mate with the resident drones. Opening times on website. Woodland open all year.
