Dolwyddelan Castle is very small, but it is excellently located in the shadow of the Welsh mountains. The moody Moel Siabod looms overhead of this ruined tower which provides the perfect setting for letting the imagination run riot. Test your fortitude by ascending to the somewhat rickety battlements for the best views.
