Pakenham Watermill

2012-04-20

Pakenham Watermill is the last working watermill in Suffolk, owned by Suffolk Building Preservation Trust and run by a team of committed volunteers. You can visit us and have a tour of the mill and see the 16ft high waterwheel, the 100 year old Blacksotne oil engine, and learn about the simple technology of water power. Afterwards you can enjoy tea in our tea shop and try our scones made using our very own wholemeal flour. You can browse in our shop and buy some flour to take home and try for yourself, or you can enjoy a stroll along the water meadow and look for wildlife. A great day out for all the family.
